do you remember this movie?

does anyone know the name? i dont remember what it was ab
out but i remember there was a bunch of african american teenagers and they were locked in a school, a hostage type thing. then in the end they camme out on the roof and a few got shot by police. does anyone know the name of this movie? i remember the colors of the movie were sort of bluish greyish, sorta black and white.

My parents want me to stay close-to-home for college and I want to be far...far away...for college. HELP?

Here's the deal. Well, I don't have any siblings, that's probably why they want me to stay close. Anyway, I've been waiting to get to live on my own my entire life and now they're jeopardizing [sp?] my chances! I want to go to Texas Tech, which is 6 or 7 hours from me. Hey, at least it's in the same state!! My parents, on the other hand, want it to be a 2-3 hour drive so I could come home on the weekends... =( I love my family and all, BUT I need to be ON MY OWN! I'm just TIRED of living in the same city for all my life and I really want to establish my own life! What are your suggestions? How can I show them that IT'S MY LIFE, not theirs!? Parents: How do you cope with your teens leaving to go off to college? Teens: Are you having the same problem? Parents: Did you have the same problem with your parents at that age?

Am I the only person in the world who thinks 'UGLY BETTY' is not ugly?

Do braces, flyaway hair, glasses and a unique dress sense REALLY make someone UGLY? The ugliest people I know are aesthetically pleasing but treat others with contempt and back stab, abuse, use and bitchabout others. Ugly people make lives miserable for those around them by upsetting everyone, they want to be the centre of attention and manipulate people to get what they want.

This series by name alone is surely making life hell for anyone vaguely resembling this girl, who is good at heart, studious, conscientious, hard working and honest. She truly is and should be re-named 'BEAUTIFUL BETTY'. The people she works for are the ugly ones!
