First of all aren't you just assuming when people respond to your question angrily that they are illiterate? Did you ever stop to think that people don't really like people who think they are smarter than them and have this pompous attitude and opinion of people they have never met? I can guarantee you sir that you are not smarter than me and that I am not illiterate either. If the smartest thing you can do is to criticize the President , well then it shows the level of intelligence you are at and can't rise above. I agree with Abby your question is once again vague. I see that you already asked it again so foolishly. I do agree that Bush does need to improve himself politically & as a leader but do everyone a favor and think of an original topic to criticize.
Now put that in your pipe and contemplate on it for a while

I can't believe the ignorant answers to this question, but since you asked.
What would you have to say to all the families that lost someone in the 911 attack on AMERICA. We didn't stand for it, that's what. Anymore than when the Japanese thought we were "asleep at the wheel" and bombed Pearl Harbor.
The only difference is that the Japanese bombed a military base. That's what makes it so bad,,,these terrorist came into the Land of The FREE, and took out two buildings full of people just going to work. How were they suppose to know to just roll over in their beds and stay home? How would you have US answer this?....What would any country in the world do with the same attack on their soil? We cannot do any less that what we did in going to WAR.
So I guess you better get out your guns and lube up buddy because if we didn't get into "over there" they'll be on our front door step.
And YES this is an very emtional. It gets down to where you really live. Everyday when the news comes in and some died over there, you should be on your knees thanking them and their families that the believed in what our forefathers did in building this nation with everthing from a pen to sign our constitution to the blood shed for it to keep it FREE. I thank GOD every day that HE holds up President Bush for having the GUTS to KEEP our country FREE. If you don't FIGHT for freedom, it isn't yours to have.
My brother was shot over there for you and me and all of us who want to live FREE. He isn't illiterate either.
I hope I've answered your question.

Not everyone from the south is an illiterate inbred hick. I'm from Memphis and I'm very literate. I also voted against Bush and hate him, so there are a few intelligent people down here in the midst of the hillbillies.

What most people don't understand is that God places all authority over us, in every area of our lives. Since President Bush is in authority over us, whether or not, he is making the correct decisions, "we the people" have to stand with him and give him our support. And its our responsibility to ask God when we pray, to give Our president the annointing necessary to make the right decisions.

Maybe it's a respect thing. I don't like him, but I do respect the office he holds and won't put him down. Doesn't say much for Americans sticking together.
