Entertainment & Music - 17 February 2007

I ask this because I was on yahoo and I read, "what will celebs at the oscars be eating?" Seriously? WHY!? Then I happen to see something on TV, "what will the stars be wearing?" again, WHY!? There obviously has to be some type of demand from people for for those type of questions to be out there and I want to know, why is there. I dont give a damn who will win an oscar, I dont give a damn what they will be eating, or wearing. I actually think its sick, that these people, who are flesh and blood, just like you and me, are being treated like they have done something Godlike. If you ask me some female at the mall, could probably act just as good if not better than half the females out acting, and be even prettier! Same for the men. So I ask, why world? Why do you care for actors? Why do you care what they eat, what they wear? They do nothing great, they are all stuck up and rude. They look down apon people who arnt them or someone like them. I just dont get the fascination.

Example from me would be Jimi Hendrix. For me his music hits a cord in my soul. I hear the slightest riff and I know that it is Jimi. He is not rock, classic rock, or in any category he is simply Hendrix and his album title "Experience" defines his musical abilities.

If anybody knows a great song for a talent show i could use it would be greatly appreiciated. i am open to any genre i would prefer a less "current" song (like, one that isnt on the radio 24/7) nothing that would be "inappropriate" for an 8th grade girl to sing. i can sing pretty high and pretty low so that helps i guess. The talent show is march 30th so if you do have any suggestions try to post them before that date, Thank you so much :D !

I need a reccomendation. I play anything that's hard rock/heavy metal. I do a lot of soloing. Can I have a reccomendation on a new amp? I found a Line 6 Spider III on Guitarcenter.com, but then I found a Marshall amp: both were $299. The reviews didn't help at all. So, can I have a reccomendation on one?

When i first heard she shaved her head
i thought she was pulling a Natalie Portman or a Gi Jane move.

But i remembered that she was sorta going bald before-- there were pictures and reports of her hair thinning-

Remember how bad her extensions were getting?

So- could it be stress induced?
Medical (God forbid) ie Cancer or something-?
Or is she just tired of how she looked
A lotta women will shave their head to sorta shead their past. Ive known women who have done that.

I say we all band together, pitch in some money and air a commercial playing the old Head On commercial, stop it, then someone comes into the picture and says, "I hate their commercials and their products."
