How would the rest of us help you celebrate?

I would invent a "The Way Nature Intended Day" and everyone could help me celebrate by buying nothing, absolutely nothing. No cards that kill trees. No cheap, flashy merchandise that'll just end up in the landfills. No coffees to go or lunches to go or impulse purchases. Nothing. And everyone will not drive or use any more electricity than is absolutely necessary (such as in the case of life support).

I would create "Music Day". A national holiday where people would have the day off and miniwoodstocks would occur in small parks all over the nation celebrating music of all origins and cultures.
If I can't have the holiday I would be just as satisfied if they allowed music back in the schools.

Can't Stand This Place Anymore Day.
To be celebrated any time of the year, but no more than 10 times a year, when you seriously cannot stand your job, school, city, etc anymore and you just need to get away.
Take a day trip next time you feel this holiday coming on.

Honesty Day...better yet call it Pinocchio Day...each time anyone told a lie their nose would grow an inch...all the politicians wouldn't be able to move...their noses would be so long they'd be top-heavy, fall face-first and their noses would stick in the ground like a golf tee and then the rest of us could go to each and kick their asses!!

I would make it August 15th since August has no holidays and it'd be a "Celebrate Diversity" day, where all religions, races,and everything else that people judge one another about would be celebrated.

Hmmmmm. How about summer solstice, June 21st. Longest day of the year. I know people used to acknowledge it somehow but I am not really sure how.
Maybe just stay outside until sundown with your family and potato salad?

Pumpkin Day, October first. Everyone has a pumpkin pie to get into the spirit of the season.. sounds good to me.

it would be called The Minni C holiday, and it would be fun for every one! we would have to go to concerts, movies, eat lots of chocolate and pizza, dress really fancy, dress the dogs, listen to lots of music, shop,shop, shop, and most importantly dance and find a cute guy :)
