If anybody knows a great song for a talent show i could use it would be greatly appreiciated. i am open to any genre i would prefer a less "current" song (like, one that isnt on the radio 24/7) nothing that would be "inappropriate" for an 8th grade girl to sing. i can sing pretty high and pretty low so that helps i guess. The talent show is march 30th so if you do have any suggestions try to post them before that date, Thank you so much :D !

Maybe Hurt by Christina Aguilera? It's kind of popular though, but it's a great song to sing if you have the voice for it. I'm sure you'll do great, good luck!!

The only great song will be one that you already love. One that you know by heart and can't stop singing (that way, you won't forget the words!). Also, a song you love will be more believable when you sing it, because you will really feel it.

It's not necessary to belt out a showstopper like "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going". In fact, it's usually more impressive if you don't oversing and just enjoy your performance instead of trying to show off your voice.

Pick a not-too-well-known song that you love and sing it as if no one is watching you, and you'll do great!

Grace Kelly - Mika, in case you are able to pull that off you have super vocals. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley, much less complicated than Grace Kelly and a very staggering track. The Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog ( Or Sarach Mclachlan), the sweetest track ever which will win over your purpose audience's heart.

Pick a song from your favorite artist... it all depends on what kind of genre of music you like or sounds good with your voice......I personally like John Legend (nice and mellow) or
"Lost without you" by Robin Thicke (words are kinda inappropriate its depends )
