A girl I know is dating a total prick that won't be seen with her in public if she doesn't do her hair and make up. She met him for breakfast the other day and wasn't wearing makeup and had just put her hair in a ponytail because she'd worked late the night before and didn't feel like "fixing up."
When she got to the meeting place he said "actually lets just get it to go and go to my place you look like crap."

I said "You're pretty anyway and you shouldn't put up with that- he's not so hot himself"

and she goes

"You don't get it. You just don't understand TRUE love.."

WTF?!?!

What happened after Zooropa?

I think the album Pop was just awful and beginning of the end for them . They became so commercial and what is there obsession with America?

I know they refer to America in the songs , but they just seemed to have gond wild about it and now they are just crap.

there used to be a music video on tv. he would be standing there, singing, hes presumably naked, his hair is braided back, and the camera just keeps circling. the background is black, and the camera slowly goes down as it circles, but never exactly reveals anything. is the song brown sugar? this takes us back quite a few years...
