I want to sing better and my friends are constantly telling me to open my soft pallette. first of all what the heck is it? and second, how do i open it? my friends have tried to explain and failed miserably

I feared both as a child. My mother is catholic and was always telling me that God could see everything I did and that I'd be punished if I wasn't a good girl. I prayed all the time. If I forgot to raise my hand to speak in class I'd pray about it.

And I always had this fear that Billy Idol was going to come into my house in the middle of the night and murder my older brother. I don't even know why I thought this...

why do they Say....

"the lightbulb went off" when it really went on?

"im gonna go take a pee/dump" when your really leaving one?

"My___is running"when its really stationary

"chip off the old block" really just means a sliver?

why do they say "live life to the fullest" when you dont know how full you can live it?

A van driver is driving along when he sees a woman dressed in a PVC suit, hitch-hiking. He stops to give her a life and after a couple of miles she asks if he wants sex. They're going at it in the back, and she starts shouting, "Spank me, spank me!" So he spanks her and she gets more and more excited. Then she starts shouting, "Whip me, whip me!"
"I haven't got a whip," he protests.
"Well there must be something you can use - why not pull the radio aerial off and use that?"
So he pulls the aerial off the van and whips her with that. Afterwards she's really sore, so she goes to the doctor and shows him the marks on her bottom from the whipping.
"Did you get these marks having sex?" asks the doc.
"Yes, I did," she says.
"I though so...this is the worst case of van-aerial disease I've ever seen." :)

so the jungle adventrua whos name is maldu mao - means captain coragous that is in the jungle just entered it and collected the golden eyed statue and .....

the malowi tribe spots him and he dashes into a underground cave and he falls in 400 ft deep then a bolder drops and he runs so fast he doges 10 spikes 2 chpooing blades and a massive cave spider then he gets to a clearing and says the words ( ewqojdycb djfyb = open up thou eyes of golden then the statue says you have been given the gift of life .
so he escapes the caves and runs back to the town and saves the people that have been captured by the evil master volxus who is very evil but the adventura saves the day and the evil master dies and all is saved ( THE END )
