This might sound stupid but my husband and I just got a new recorder for Christmas. I sing and he plays guitar

Everyone loves the way I sing. I've sang in contests and I sing at church every week. When I recorded myself, I hated the way I sounded. I actually cried because I was so disappointed in the way I sounded. How do I get myself to hear myself the way other people do because I think I suck! But everyone wants me to make cd's for them and stuff....?
