A few friends and I were talking about music videos by different bands. We got on the subject of Pink Floyd. I remember *or at least I think I remember* a video by them called "The Day the Tigers Broke Free" or something about tigers. All I remember about the video was a pilot during what looked like WWII and a plane crash. Can anyone confirm Pink Floyd has a song and video like this? Or if not, the correct information please. is anyone sure of who Harry Osborn is going to be in the movie?, I've seen the trailer & it just shows him on a glider & wearing black, is he gonna be the second Green Goblin or the Hobgoblin?, I hope not the Hobgoblin because thats changing they storyline way too much, & plus the Sandman did not kill Uncle Ben in the comics, but I think didn't he have connections to Uncle Ben's killer in the comics?, & is Spider-Man gonna fight it out with Venom?

So he thought it would be a nice idea to get her a gift card for a local salon, it was for a "mini retreat", she was going to get a facial, 1/2 hour massage, scalp treatment, manicure, lunch & hair style done.

He spent about $130 on it, theyve only been together for 4 months. ANd he knows she never spends money on herself, only her kids & he thought she deserved to be pampered for a day.

It was completely his idea, but I did go pick i up for him b/c hes be very busy. She got him a ring which probably cost about $150. Well she got all pissed off & told him that he didnt put any thought into the gift & he didnt go get it himself. She told him that she more than "likes" him so thats why she got him jewelry & obviously he doesnt feel the same about her! WTF!!! So basically she expected to get jewerly?!

It probably made it worse when she found out that he got me this really nice necklace that i wanted!

Ladies would you like that kind of gift? I thought it was nice....

Hey everybody and hope you are having a great time for the festive period. I want so spend around three hundred pounds on something to record music at home, I obviously need a mic (I have ZERO experience in them) and either something like a 4 track or a soundcard (my PC is fast) to record tracks on, including, hopefully, to be able to cope when my mates come round to jam. I literally have no idea where to start but the songs are getting good and we need something to just get them down with, so they sound good enough for just myspace or something. I don't know, thanks guys and sorry I seem to be so inarticulate today.
