***I'm talking in the regions where it gets COLD COLD COLD and there's a lot of snow.***

I know a person that does this, and I think they're nuts. LOL. What if they get stranded?

Girl I live in Denver, Colorado... it snows out here...and it gets cold...I once worked with a beautiful lady who would wear sexy sandals to work...in the snow, when it was freezing outside, her toes were manicured...shoes were cute...and her feet would be red! Toes were red! I had to ask her why or how could she do that? She said the cold didn't bother her and she was comfortable...(huh, say what? ) I couldn't do it, I cant understand it... I can wait until Spring/Summer to show off my sexy feet.

I live in an area that at times gets a number of inches of snowfall in a day, and I still wear sandals all year round. I just don't have a problem with my feet being cold.

Living in Minnesota, we get lots of snow and lots of below -0 temps. I wear sandals alot and even run outside barefooted on occasion especially if I'm only going to be out there a minute or two.

Lived in Minnesota for years; one guy I used to hang with wore those clog things all the time. Looked pretty silly walking in the snow in them!

I wear sandals all the time now, but I live in Texas...75 degrees yesterday.

My college Biology prof wore Birkenstocks all year round (with socks in the winter) and Yes, it gets cold there and there was sometimes quite a bit of snow.

I've gone barefoot in the snow before, when I lived in a place that got a lot of snow...never far from the house, but I've done it. It's a refreshing feeling for a few moments...

I've seen guys in shorts in the middle of winter (and I'm talking in 20 degree weather) but not sandals.

I wear them because I get blisters on feet when I wear regular shoes. This due to a nerve damage from a spinal injury. This may be your friends problem also. When it is rainy or cold I carry regular shoes and extra socks in my car. Just in case.
