my son wants an electric guitar for christmas but i dont know which one to buy. He already plays a classical guitar and has been going to lessons for over a year now (if this makes any difference)

I have been trying to remember what this movie was forever. I just remember being ill from school and my mother renting it somewhere between 1984 and 1988. I guess it was like the borrowers but much earlier. But the most vivid memory was them climbing these giant stairs.
