those movies they show are friggin depressing, but every woman i know watches that crap.... whats the deal?

the actors are typically B level at best, the movies are all the same, even though some are based on true stories, the movies are obviously dramatized heavily, and the women are always getting beaten, their kids are kidnapped, they're kidnapped, they're raped or abused mentally, sexually harassed, in court for some reason, they lose their jobs, etc etc. i like a serious movie once in a while, but come on......

what is so appealling about that channel's programming? i really want to know.

Does anyone know any good anime to watch? I've already seen: Bleach, Inuyasha, Ayashi no Ceres, Fruit Basket, Ouran High School Host club, Princess Monoke, Sailor Moon, Puchi Puri Princess..thats all l can think of. I don't want to see horror anime, they show too much blood. And please no cocky ones like Akazukin Cha Cha and Salior Moon. I'm tried of those cocky ones.

Ok...I tried some search engines and they couldn't find anything so yeah. The lyrics are as follows:

A mentally deranged spinster was given treatment in a hospital. Every man appeared to be a rapist to her. After several treatment, she was cured. However, after recovery from this phobia, she started complaing that somebody was hiding below her cot. Any amount of medicine nor counselling could help her. So the doctors had a consultation among themselves and came to the conclusion that only the carpenter in the hospital who is a stud could help her overcome this problem. They sent for him. He was told about the task. He also agreed. He was sent inside the woman's room and the door was locked. After his entry, the doctors could hear her screaming and shouting at him:"You idiotic stud, you can't do this to me". There were rattling sound of the cot and the screamings of the woman. Finally there was the thudding sound of the cot followed by a bewildering silence. The door opened and the carpenter came out with heavy sweating. "The job is done";he showed the sawed legs of the cot to doctors!

This movie came out in the early 80s. This is all I can remember from it:

The movie is about a poor mother and her children. At some point in the movie her (abusive?) husband throws a cooking pot out the front door during an argument and a neighbor rushes over and grabs it, saying something to the effect of once it has left the house, the mother can no longer claim it.

One of the children gets seriously injured when she is sitting in between two railroad cars on a track and the cars couple together. She gets taken to the hospital, where a scene is displayed with the mother frantically running behind a group of doctors ushering the girl down a hospital corrider on a stretcher. I think she has a fistful of money in her hands and she's begging the doctors to just let her take the girl home. I believe the girl later dies.

I know that's not much to go on. Anyone have any idea?
