i think that everyone has a right to their own opinion, especially when it deals with war. The dixie chicks do not think this war was a good idea and i think that they had every right to speak about it, and about Bush...
I love the dixie chicks..they rock! If people were REAL fans they wouldn't get pissed off and diss them over their political opinions.

i'm for dixie chicks, why does it matter what they said about the pres. what does that have to do with their music? people are so close minded. i think its because they are in the country world of music, if they were labeled rock, it wouldnt have been such a big deal. i think everyone should have their own right to say whatever the hell they want!! theyre music is still good, and if you are really into music, than it shouldnt matter, bless the chicks!!!

As a band, they suck..they sound like 3 cats in heat. As for human beings, they have a right to their opinion about the war. However, as celebrities, voicing something that politically incorrect on national television, esp about the President, called for all the flack they got.

I am for the Dixie Chicks 100%. I like their music and I like their spunk and fearlessness to speak their minds. They saw through president Bush for what he truly is...An idiot!!! and they weren't afraid to call him out on it. I am glad they took a stand and spoke out against the war in Iraq. I am so worried for the U.S. soldiers there. My heart goes out to them. They are fighting a war that should have never even begun, for a greedy man who only has dollar signs in his eyes from all the oil that's there for the taking.

they are pretty good
but the lead singer needs to stop making political remarks at all
it will just give them more bad publicity
the thing said about bush made their ratings go way down
they should have learned a lesson the first time

I like the dixide chicks' music, but I don't agree with what they said. But their music especially "Cowboy Take Me Away" that song is awsome!! : )
