In the Night of the Rat segment (the last of the movie)the jewish exterminator looked up the giant rat in some mystical book .

1) What was the book (the Kabbalah?)
2)There was some name for the rat in the book, What was it and what did it mean (translated to english)
3) What was the rat supposed to be? I don't think it was just your typical b-movie Mutant (after all it was mentioned in that ancient book) Was it some sort of rat god?
4)One review mentioned that the rat had psychic powers, What were they?
