I hear this a lot, especially since it comes from a Snoop Dogg song. For the record, I'm not into rap music but I heard a sample of it on Weird Al's "Polkarama" on his new CD.
So what does "drop it like it's hot" really mean?

It means "get down" "do your thing". it just some other ghetto saying. and not cool

I don't know the current musical context to which you refer, but "drop it like it's hot" means to let go immediately. If someone handed you something that was extremely hot, how fast would you drop it? That's what it originally meant. I can't comment on a song I've never heard, of course. It may be used in some other context now.

Your "balls dropping" is usually a slang term for puberty. She is saying you probably haven't gone through puberty yet. When a guy goes through puberty, his genitals get larger making the testicles hang lower.

OMG! It means to drop your body down when u dance. (Like when u go down to the floor when ur dancing) hence "drop it like its hot." It has nothing to do with something literally being so hot that you have to let it go!
And, Its not ghetto for all u people that think it is, its URBAN talk.
