i think punk is misunderstood nowadays.. every1 seems to think that if ur a punk u have to dress 'punkish' and listen to punk music. i think thats alot of bullshit. i think punk is a lifestyle and a state of mind. i believe i cud wear a polo shirt and some khakis and be a punk. i cud listen to rap and even country and be a punk. ppl are so close minded and think they know things. u need to grow up and realize that punk is INDIVIDUALITY. and whats a poser? ne one that fits into the close minded **** i described up there. thats what a poser is. and....someone that does it all to 'be cool' and 'fit in'. do ne of u agree? and if not explain ur opinions!

I've noticed that Jessica Alba is the new "it girl" along with a few other young celebrities, and that she is the girl that "girls are jealous of and hate, and boys want to date". Everybody is obsessed with her.
I don't understand, please help me--What is so great about this girl?
Her face is not pretty at all. Her eyes are not beautiful, they don't stand out (everybody knows that to be pretty, you have to have pretty eyes). Her body is not great. She is actually too skinny and doesn't have real curves. Her nasty fake blonde hair does not suit her natural dark features.
She looks like a developing pre-teen girl, not 25.

What is the big deal with this chick?

A man walks into the toy store to get a Barbie doll for his daughter. So he asks the assistant, as you would, "How much is Barbie?"

"Well," she says, "we have Barbie Goes to the Gym for $19.95, Barbie Goes to the Ball for $19.95, Barbie Goes Shopping for $19.95, Barbie Goes to the Beach for $19.95, Barbie Goes Nightclubbing for $19.95, and Divorced Barbie for $265.00."

"Hey, hang on," the guy asks, "why is Divorced Barbie $265.00 when all the others are only $19.95?"

"Yeah, well, it's like this ... Divorced Barbie comes with Ken's house, Ken's car, Ken's boat, Ken's furniture ..."

Paw preference is extremely common among non-human animals. In most species where researchers have looked for it, they’ve found it. Parrots seem to be mostly southpaws. Rats, monkeys and chimps are about divided equally between left- and right-pawed individuals, though rats and monkeys have been observed to slightly favor their right paws for handling objects. Badgers, wolves, and bears are left-pawed; lobsters are left-clawed. It’s been suggested that certain species of crabs might be “left pincered,” as the pincer on their left side is larger and stronger than the one the right.

I am Canadian. I am sick and tired of the war and deception created by the US Government. I am tired of the US Government using scare tactics to bully other countries to conform to the 'American' way of life. I am sick that my fellow Canadians are sitting in Iraq, and Afghanistan dying for the war that was created by The US, and president Bush. I dont think its fair that my fellow Canadians are cleaning up the mess the US has made there. I am tired of the arrogance I find in some ( not all) American people. Who gave you the right to tell another culture how to live, who are you to tell them that the traditions these people up hold are wrong, or tell them they are pacticing the 'wrong' religion? I am truly sorry for the families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks, and I am truly sorry for the families who have lost loved ones in the war. But when will it end? When will there be peace? It is one thing to send help, but another to take over a country for their oil.

Little Tommy was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried everything: tutors, flash cards, special learning centers. In a last-ditch effort, they took Tommy and enrolled him in the local Catholic school.

After the first day, Little Tommy came home with a very serious look on his face. He didn't kiss his mother hello. Instead, he went straight to his room and started studying.

His mother was amazed.

She called him to dinner. To her shock, the minute he was done he marched back to his room without a word and in no time he was back hitting the books as hard as before.

This went on for some time, day after day while his mother tried to understand what made all the difference.

Finally, Little Tommy brought home his report card. He quietly laid it on the table and went up to his room and hit the books.

With great trepidation, his mom looked at it. To her surprise, little Tommy got an A in math.

She could no longer hold her curiosity. She went to his room and said, "Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?"

Little Tommy looked at her and shook his head, "No!"

"Well, then," she asked, "was it the books, the discipline, the structure, the uniforms? WHAT was it?"

Little Tommy looked at her and said, "Well, on the first day of school, when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling around!"
