Star / celebrity who has used the fame gained from sporting / music etc to launch an acting career? I ask only because I'm watching a film (I know, I deserve everything I get), with Hulk Hogan in and it has to be quite possibly the worst piece of acting I have EVER seen. I know a lot of actors turn to singing (and generally make a hash of it) but I was wondering if there were any others?

A man stopped by a cafe and had his lunch. After paying the tab, he checks his pockets for a tip, and leaves his change; three pennies. As he strides for the door, his waitress muses, only half to herself, "You know, you can tell a lot about a man by the tip he leaves".
The man turned around, curiousity getting the better of him. "Oh, really? Tell me; What does my tip say"?
"Well, this first penny tells me you are a thrifty man". Barely able to conceal his pride the man utters, "Hmm, that's true enough".
"This next penny, it tells me you are a bachelor".
Surprised at her perception he says, "Well, that's true, too".
"And this last penny here tells me your Father was one, also".

I recently heard a country song on the radio with the title of something like "Alliyah? or Lalya? lies? or lied?" The station did not give the correct title or artist and I would really like to find out the title or at least the artist. In the song it starts out with the father singing about how his daughter found a friend under the swing today and she lies and the song ends with them going to school and finding out she is not there any more.

I'm not into doing outrageous stuff and I don't go out much, hanging with mates.
I swear a lot, but I'm very polite and I respect people.
I never break rules in school, but I would still get pissed off with the teacher, only behind their backs.
I haven't tried smoking because I think that people are stupid if they choose to take it up when they are only teenagers, because they are killing themselves slowly.
I don't agree with alcohol, I have tried but I hate it.
I do not wear makeup or jewellery that shows that I'm a rebel.
I wear normal clothes.
I've never tried to commit suicide.
I have a lot of hateful thoughts.
I have a slightly above IQ score.
I love different types of rock music and do not know what I am. Stuff that I listen to: FOB, P!ATD, MCR, GD, GC, Trivium, BFMV, LP (both), Three Days Grace, Finch, QOTSA....
