Won an appointment to the USNA but chose to go into acting. Was the only other person, besides the MAIN star, to appear on this show the entire 20 years that it was on tv. Almost always wore a dumpy old black hat. Had hysterical converstaioins with the Marshal's deputy. A wonderful actor.
He is the one who first bursts out in laughter in this GREAT clip.
