AMELIE read the Notebook tho its good but AMELIE is an amazing movie. my all time favorite.
Don't listen to everyone else, the notebook is a good movie but once you've seen Amelie it is way out of its league. the only reason other people have been saying the notebook is because they have never heard of amelie and a film challenged and need some help. So pick Amelie and thank me later. tell us which one you picked.

The notebook all the way! It is so poignant and such a wonderful film. I absolutely love it, it's one of my all-time favorites!!! (Though Message In A Bottle is my ABSOLUTE all-time favorite!!) But yes, the acting is phenominal, the storyline is great, and overall it's just amazing! The book is incredible as well.

Amelie is kind of off-beat
The Notebook is cheesy and heartwrenching
Personally, I liked Amelie better.

The Notebook was a tearjerker, but Amelie is much more unique and ... whimsical.... Go for Amelie.
