Im not really ashamed of the music i listened to because it was mostly 80's stuff my dad listened to. The funny thing is that kids nowadays appreciate that music alot more (The Cure, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode).

During the recent 4th of July holiday, I clearly noticed that the Jumping-Jacks were much smaller and thinner, and lasted one crappy second. When I was a kid, they were bigger and better and lasted several seconds longer.

Sparklers are shorter and thinner.
Firecrackers are a joke now.
Bottle rockest fizzle out so fast and they "opo". No more BOOMs!
Snakes don't stay lit

Am I the only one who notices this?
