THIS IS AN OLD ONE BUT THE PUNCHLINE IS GREAT
Subject: Corvette

An 85 year old man from California had always wanted a Corvette. He found the one to fulfill his dreams in Concord so went down and bought it. He got on the interstate and was driving about 60, when he thought wait a minute I'm in a Corvette. Up he went to 70, then 80 and by the time he got to Laurel he was up to 90. He sped past Laurel at a 100, on to 110 then 120 up to 130 when he noticed a highway patrolman in pursuit. He kept going up to 140, 150 and then thought a highway patrolman I had better stop.
The patrolman came up to the car and looked at him and said how old are you? 85 he replied! The patrolman said if he could have a good answer for his speed he wouldn't give him a ticket. The 85 year old replied " sir 45 years a go my wife ran away with a patrolman, and when I saw your lights I was afraid you were bringing her back!"

The cop walked away .....have a nice day sir!
