Even though I like many different musical styles also, I'm a fan of country music the most.
I am a fan of classic country music (songs before 1990) with artists such as Tom T. Hall, Dolly Parton, Restless Heart, and many more with songs like "Faster Horses..." by Tom T. Hall
I am also a fan of the more modern stuff on radio currently like Gretchen Wilson, Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Gary Allan,among others
And for the past few years I've been getting also in to something called Alt-Country. Some of it I don't like but most of the Alt-Country (also sometimes called Americana) I love is from what is called the Texas/Red Dirt music scene with artists like Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Miranda Lambert, Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, Kevin Fowler, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Shooter Jennings, among many more.. As well as Alison Krauss and Union station who are a progrssive bluegrass/country group
But as of late, I've been listening to the modern country on radio and mostly the alt-country music mentioned above

A little over four years ago I couldn't have picked George Strait out of a line up. Then I started working with this guy, and he talked and talked and talked, drove me nuts, cause I hated country music, and I wasn't too fond of him. But, needless to say, he grew on me, and now I'd die for him. He's a country music and Elvis Presley fanatic. Oh, and, I could pick George Strait out of a line up now. And Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith, and Trace Adkins, and...........Kenny, don't forget Kenny....and I like Sugarland. If you're crazy, he's crazy and so am I..

I really like Keith Urban (although his latest stuff has sucked) - but he's so pretty!
Lonestar - I like them better than Rascal Flatts
Diamond Rio - great songs, really nice guys!
Alison Krauss - the only female singer I really like
Toby Keith - puts on a good show (I don't enjoy his drinkin' songs)
Kenny Chesney - he's so cute, but all of his songs are beginning to sound the same
For "old time" country western singers I absolutely loved Ronnie Milsap!

Whats wrong with liking any type of music? I can't understand why people make fun of others for the type of music they like. I like almost everything from Linkin Park, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, to Alan Jackson.
Some of my favorites are: Alan Jackson, all of his are good
I love George Jones, White Lightning and He stopped loving her today. I like the story teller like Don Williams and Tom T. Hall alot.
