Hi i'm trying to write a story and i was just wondering what you all think of my first sentence.
All i could hear was the rain bashing against my bedroom window,as I sat there staring out into the dark and gloomy night.

I am playing a game called Mass Effect and in the game reffering to a blue star the description says it "burns at half again the temperature of Sol". Since our star (Sol) is yellow i'm assuming that it means one and a half times as hot as Sol, but this is just a guess.

anyone know the answer to this?
