I looked in the dictionary and it supposedly comes from the Latin "individuus," meaning "not divisible". I find it a bit odd that while reading my Anatomy and Physiology text, I found a statement saying that the word atom comes from the Greek word meaning "not divisible".

i am writing a poem and need help finding the right wording. Another word for a run down house or appartment. I have already thought of "ruins" but it does not fit or isn't "intelegent" enough. If you have any suggestions or know of what im talking about email me or instant message me if you have any question to what im talking about. And yes i do know of the reference site Dictionary.com which has definitions and thresaurus. But i have not come up with the right "wording". TY

I met a German lady the other night and she said I was "good to steal horses with" which according to her is a good thing but she couldn't really give me an English equivalent. Is anyone familiar with this phrase? Could you explain it a bit better to me? She said it was almost like calling me a daredevil but I'm very curious now!

Place the tip of the dosing syringe in your child’s mouth with the tip of the syringe on the back half of your child’s tongue.

I am giving the next sentence for the context:

Ideally you want the syringe placed towards the back of the mouth but not too far back to cause your child to gag.

Is releasing people a sin? Suppose some broke rules three times. Now to punish them, why do some community release them?

These are not homework question. These are discussion questions. I just want to know your opinions. Yes, I made these questions from the book "THE GIVER". I don't know How did I do this? Just help me out by sharing your opinions. I just have to know that can we anwser those question or cannot. Why? Because I don't have to answer them. My friends have to answer them. So don't worry about copying.
