What is this memory phenomenon? For instance, why can I recall the first 20 Super Bowls - teams, scores, locations, etc. (1967-1896) better than I can the most recent 20?

Friends of my parents live about 10 blocks from us. Since they are away most of the time at their other house, they said my and my two sisters can use the pool in their backyard.

The problem is, since they are not home, their house is locked. This means we can't get to the bathroom when we need to pee. It's too far and too cold to run all the way back to our house.

Could we pee in the yard somewhere (it is fenced for good privacy) or even in the pool?

(Except Liberia and Burma). Measurements in the metric system are derived from scientific principles. Even the English are metric who actually invented the imperial measurements based on natural measures in a simple agricultural society. It makes no sense to retain the old system - advantages of metric are simplicity, ease of calculation and international standards. Is there any plan to bring US measurements into the modern world?

.....between Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and US President, George Bush????????
I think that Bush likes Brown... so Brown would get a couple of blows in!! I've seen Bush jogging and keeping fit.... so I believe that he would pound Brown for a while!!!? Brown would, though, get a few bangs of his own in!!!
Ultimately, and I'm not showing bias, I DO think that Brown would lick Bush!!! What's your thoughts?????

Or is it a crime to state a fact? Why was my similar question deleted? Don't you want to hear the truth? Muslims explored North America at least 300 years before the discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus, according to many researchers. Dr. Barry Fell, a noted New Zealand archaeologist and linguist of Harvard University showed detailed existing evidence in his work, "Saga America" that Muslims were not only in the Americas before Columbus arrived, but very active there as well. Remnants of mosques found in America and today over 500 city names in America were named after the Muslims. What happened to them?
