Imagine that you are an explorer . You have just landed on an island and you decide that eventually you would like to bring your friends and realatives there to live. You notice however there aren't any pigs on the island, and you all have exotic tastes: you and your friends and relatives simply adore pigs' feet. (Ok use your imagination here! Pigs' feet are considered a delicay by some, although frankly, I don't see it...) You decide to leave a male and a female pig on the island,go back and get your friends, and return and three years. These pigs will produce THREE LITTERS OF BABIES EACH YEAR (ONE EVERY FOUR MONTHS). There are ALWAYS TWO MALES AND TWO FEMALES IN EACH LITTER.

1) IF ALL THE FEMALES, NO MATTER HOW YOUNG OR HOW OLD, HAVE A LITTER (AS DESCRIBED ABOVE) EVERY FOUR MONTHS AND NO PIGS DIE, HOW MANY PIGS WILL BE ON YOUR ISLAND WHEN YOU RETURN? CAN YOU FIND ANY PATTERNS?
EXPLAIN YOUR STRATEGY AND REASOING PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_flying_machine you can see a total of 27 different people can claimed to be the inventors for one reason or the other.

I do know that Americans and Canadians are taught on their schools that the Americans Wright Brothers were the big inventors, but in Brazil they are taught it was Santos Dumont.

So according to your country, who was chosen to be the "real" inventor? Please mention your country name.

PLEASE, this is not intended to know anyone's opinion, or to try to seek any truth, but rather to research on different views on a country by country perspective.

Thank you.

Let's say you're on a stranded island. With you is another survivor, one who nags at you and talks of nothing but nonsense 24/7. Both of you are sitting by a fire you built and that guy is being an incredible pain in the neck. Then, a fat wild boar comes up to you and cuddles near the fire. Now, you realise that you have a deadly gun in your pocket with only one bullet loaded. You've been stranded for days, slowly dying of hunger and the pain your survivor friend gives you. A new hope lies within the gun. Who would you shoot? If you shoot the survivor, you'll have peace but no food because he's uneatable due to the fact that he has an internal fungal growth which is starting to spread to his eyeballs. If you shoot the wild boar, you're gonna have one hell of a feast but will not gain any peace and quiet because that survivor guy looks strong enough to live another month or two. So who would get the bullet? The survivor or the boar?

The first paper notes printed in the United States were in denominations of 1 cent, 5 cents, 25 cents, and 50 cents. The U.S. Department of the Treasury first issued paper U.S. currency in 1862 to make up for the shortage of coins and to finance the Civil War.

Three friends are sharing a hotel room. At check in they are told the room costs $30. Each person gives a 10 dollar bill. After the transaction they go to the room. The desk manager comes in and sees the slip, then informs the desk clerk he overcharged the group: the room was only $25. The manager gives the desk clerk five 1 dollar bills and sends him up to the room. On his way he decides it's silly to give 3 people 5 dollars so he pockets 2 and gives one dollar back to each person.

So here we go: Each person paid 10, and got one back..so each paid 9.
The clerk pocketed 2.

9 * 3= 27 +2= 29...where'd the other dollar go?

10 points to who first posts the oldest national anthem in the world. Even though this anthem is not the oldest 'official' anthem, it is considered the worlds oldest, as in the first unofficial anthem.

You can put the name, the translation into English, or the countries name.

Good luck!
