2) Five seniors have been up to some mischief. A hapless fresher has been given a
challenge. He has been given a set of clues using which he has to deduce a certain result.
Each senior is from a different department. Each department building has a different
colour and they are all on the same road, on the same side. Each senior likes a particular
drink, chews a particular brand of gum, and listens to a different singer/band.
The fresher has been given the following set of clues:

a) The Mech guy drinks Appy.

b) The green department is to the left of the white department.

c) The Chem guy chews Juicy Fruit.

d) The senior who chews Centre Fresh listens to Pink Floyd.

e) The senior who chews Boomer has his department next to that of the senior's who
listens to M.S.Subbulakshmi.

f) The senior from the department in the centre drinks cola.

g) The senior from the green department drinks lassi.

h) The Civil department is next to the blue coloured department.

i) The senior who chews Boomer has a neighbour who drinks water.

j) The senior from the yellow department chews Orbit.

k) The Elec department is red in colour.

l) The senior who chews Spearmint drinks Real fruit juice.

m) The Meta guy listens to Kishore Kumar.

n) The senior who listens to Jethro Tull has his department next to the one whose senior
chews Orbit.

o) The Civil guy lives in the first (i.e. the leftmost) department.

constraints.
a) It should contain only notes ‘C’ and ‘G’.
b) No sequence in the piece should appear three times consecutively. (Eg. ‘CCC’,
