There's always someone who spots the flaws in your ideas.
Yes, a chicken is both male and female, but it could still hold up as a valid question in these modern times. So, if you are wandering up the correct path the question is sound.
Shall we for arguments sake visualise in our minds a chicken and see an egg laying female (which we generally do). This is my moment, please let me run with it and bathe in the glory/scorn.

it depended if the rooster was sensitive to the chickens needs.....

A rooster is a male chicken. A hen is a female chicken. Although, I would assume that the term chicken came before the term rooster.

This isnt proven or anything but if adam and eve came at the same time would it be possible for the animals to do the same as well. i mean they needed each other to reproduce (so i think). i just think every creature was created with a significant other
