Its a file that my professor sent to us so i cant copy and paste on here but i can send through email. Normally i would not ask for help with any school subject, but math is a very weak point for me always has been and tutoring isnt working im failing math.. Someone please help me with my homework. Theirs not very many problems and shouldnt take very long especially if you know how to do them.

How would I do this problem?
There are two boxes: one marked A and one marked B. Each box contains either a million dollars or a deadly snake that will kill you instantly. You must open one box. On box A there is a sign that reads: "At least one of these boxes contains one million dollars." ON box B there is a sign that reads:" A deadly snake that will kill you instantly is in Box A. You are told that both signs are true or both are false. Which box do you open? Be careful, the wrong answer is fatal!

Can anyone please check if my friend's answer is correct to the following math question:
Bob is buyiny a mango that weighs 1.6 pounds and costs $1.30 per pound. He is also buying a papaya that weighs 2.4 pounds and costs $1.90 per pound. HOw much change should Derrick receive if he gives the cashier $20?

By using 4, 4, 4, 4, yes that's 4 four times, you must use either multiplication, division, addition, subtraction and square root symbol to come up with an equation in which the answer would be 19, 23, 25,27,29, and 30. Well there were more but these are the ones that we CAN'T do. Oh also, you can combine two of the 4's to make 44. example: I'll use "sq" for square root since the symbol isn't on the computer.
44 - (4 X 4) = this would be our answer of 28
(sq4 + sq4)+(4 X 4) = this would be our answer of 20
If anyone can come up with any equations with the rules I've supplied that have the answers I need, I would appreciate the help. Thanks.
