The handmade fabric cake has been very popular among Japanese girls for many years! In this flyer you can see Amy’s creative products. Satire plays an important part in Mark Twain’s classic, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In chapter 2, The Glorious Whitewasher, were Twain satirizes chores. Kids hate doing chores and will do anything to get out of them for that reason he demonstrates satire by making fun of that fact and bragging about how fun it is, making the kids want to do it for him. Mark twain utilizes satire when he satirizes church by having every one get distracted by a beetle and a poodle dog. He knows that people get easily distracted in church by the littlest things so that is what he is satirizing. Satire plays in important part in making humor when tom has to take the painkiller and he gives it to his cat. (?) “He pried his mouth open and pours down the pain killer and the cat sprang a couple yards in the air and then delivers a war whoop and set around the room banging against furniture, upsetting flower pots and making general havoc. Satire is utilized many times in Mark Twains, Tom Sawyer.
