The question I need help with is from Chapter 36 "Trying to Help Jim", it asks:
1. What is letting on? Why is it important in this chapter?

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

And I am. I was wondering if anyone has any "comeback lines." For example the comeback pick up lines:
Guy: Hey can I have your Number?
Girl: Yeah, it's in the phone book.
Guy: Can I have your name too then?
Girl: Yeah, that's in the phone book too!

I dunno, i just want a comeback line if someone makes a short joke about me. I have a good self-esteem, i just want to be funny/ make the person stop by being baffled. THx
