Ended up at one the other day. Hrmph. I'm a vegetarian; looked at the menu and asked if they could make me a chicken quesadilla with no chicken.

"Sure!"

I got a plate with a quesadilla with chicken spilling out the sides.

Er...

It went back. She came back. "The quesadillas are already made..."

I can't think of a way to assemble quesadillas well ahead of time in another facility and have them come out nicely. Ick.

Is all the food that bad, or are the chicken and ribs decently done, and it's just the rest of the menu that's junk?

I am turning 18 in less than 2 weeks, and I really don’t know what to do or where to go. I have never really had a party for as long as I can remember and don’t think I want one. All that I know is that I want this one to be different from the rest by not just simply staying home. I want to be out and about with my boyfriend any idea on what I can due to make this day a fun and one to remember? I live in down town Toronto if that helps lo

I am looking for a Japanese restaurant in Toronto, Canada, where you sit in the traditional screened rooms and you have to remove your shoes and sit on the floor to eat your meal.

I have found a lot of private screened rooms, but you don't sit on the floor. Your feet go under the table that is recessed into the ground.

Anyone know of any nice, reasonably priced, reservation needed (i hate waiting for a table on a friday) italian restaurants in calgary?

I'm thinking either Gnocchi's (not sure if they take reservations), or Il Sogno. I'm trying to find something like the Olive Garden (but they don't take reservations on Friday and Saturday nights).
