Visit Fort Stevens, go to one of the parks, Portland is just right across the river, Vancouver is mostly the housing of Portland.

Move to the REAL vancouver - Vancouver BC

Then you'll know real beauty, and there'll be a hell of a lot more to do, besides watching crazy wind storms that knock over trees
