No, to have Mexican food, you need some basics, like corn, beef, and cheese, and electricity or gas to cook it. Since we live in igloos and eat raw seal meat, there are no Mexican recipes that work. If anyone comes up with a Beluga blubber burrito, let me know. I think it would be a hit with my cariboo taco.

There is a really good one in Montreal, called Carlos and Pepes,it is at 1420 Peel Street, (that's in downtown Montreal), and the food is superb, and not too bad on prices, considering what you get. The phone number is area code 514 -288-3090. I was in Toronto in the late 90's, and they had a restaurant named Carlos and Pepes(or it could have been Pedros), but it was supposed to be a take off of the one in Montreal, but I don't know if it is still there. Hope that helped you!

Plenty, right up there with chinese, The top foreign food here. I love chicken springrolls, not the one's with just alfalfa sprouts, gotta have meat in it. Then Italian, Gotta love that pasta. Greek, ever had a Donair? Delish.Yugoslavian, I forgot their specialties. Jamaican, ever had a spicy beef Jamaican patty? Yummy. I would say Mexican is pretty near the bottom of the foreign food chain. Good food though, I love spicy food. Could be wrong. It's all good.

Yes, we have quite a few mexican restaurants in Canada. My favourite is Topangas on West 4th Ave and MacDonalds St in Vancouver BC Canada. They also have the best fresh salsa in town!

Cheers,

Depending in what city or where you are in Canada, there are some real nice ones and some not so nice. I know Montreal and Toronto have some, Calgary has some also. There has got to be more, but I would need more details as to where in Canada.

None, we live in igloos and eat raw penquins for breakfast. However there are many Mexican "restaurants", the Mexicans mostly live in the southern part of Canada and they like to eat out occasionally.

Search for a Mexicali Rosa's in your area, I know there are afew in Ontario. Oakville, Belleville etc. Great burritos and mohitos. They even serve a sangria that is amazing. I included a link for the locations.

Of course, there are, TONS of them. Everything from chains , to MOM and POPs, to finer fare. I have just found a new one in Burlington, ON, called ADOBE Grill. Wow... everything so authentic and everything hand made on the premises. I love the carnitos.
