I have a student ID card which has a relatively strong magnet to secure it to my pocket. Do I need to keep this magnet away from my Palm TX PDA, or my cell phone?

Please answer this question if you or someone you know owns or has owned/used this phone.

I have a couple of questions about this phone. I am interested in buying one.

First of all, I'm a teenage girl. So remember that.

1. Can you go on the internet on this phone? Like Internet Explorer?

2. Is this phone too big to fit in the back pocket of jeans? Have you found that this phone is uncomfortably big for everyday use?

3. How do you dial numbers? (There is no number pad.)

4. Do you like this phone?

5. I would only be using this phone for the QWERTY keyboard, camera, big screen, text messaging, talking (of course), and using the internet. Should I buy it even though it is a PDA type phone?

I have a Sprint PPC-6700 Phone/PDA and have installed the new Activesync Beta 4.5. I use Windows Media Player 11. My 6700 syncs fine with everything else except WMP. I keep clicking refresh device in WMP but it doesn't recognize my phone anymore. Is it because the version is 11? Or because I have the new beta version of Activesync? What can I do to fix it?

I am wondering if there is any way I could sell my laptop and buy a PDA instead. The one thing that PDA's seem to be missing is any sort of CD drive. Can you get external CD drives (maybe with bluetooth) that will work with a PDA? I want to get a PDA and NOT NEED to ever hook it up to a computer. Is that possible?
