My PPC-6700 no longer syncs with Windows Media Player and WMP doesn't even recognize it anymore?

I have a Sprint PPC-6700 Phone/PDA and have installed the new Activesync Beta 4.5. I use Windows Media Player 11. My 6700 syncs fine with everything else except WMP. I keep clicking refresh device in WMP but it doesn't recognize my phone anymore. Is it because the version is 11? Or because I have the new beta version of Activesync? What can I do to fix it?

You may has to reboot and start over. With the original data, see if WMP 11 works with it, then go to update 4.2 and see what happens, then you already know it does not work with 4.5. If you also read what the updates do, you will see I think that 4.5 will not let you use bluetooth as a modem cuz of security issues. Something like this. I will have to go back later and look at it. I need to buy a mini card before I can find out about the WMP problem. But I know what to expect. Go back and read what 4.1 and 4.5 updates are doing or what improvements they made.

Did you at one time have WMP 11 working, before the updates. It is not common to put an update and then other programs may not work for one reason or the other. If nothing works, then apparently they have not updated for the new WMP ll yet. I use mine as a modem with Sprint and the manual completely sucks as far as info. Hope this helps.

Oh yea, keep my ID in mind. I plan to buy a 4 GB mini SD card. I will be able to let you know if I can get one that works. Crucial.com said that if it did not work they would refund my money back. I even saw one in another site for $56 but no money back though, only exchange.

The same thing is happening to me. But I have all my music on a 2 GB card. WMP wont read the music on the card and when I try to search for the music files through File Explorer, it shows nothing. I know the music files are still on the card because properties shows that the card is at capacity. I've tried just about everything. I'm going to do as the other lad suggested and reformat my phone. If that doesnt work I will have to call Sprint and ask them to replace my phone.
