so i want to connect my wii to the internet and i want to know what i need. i have a computer, a modem, and high speed internet connection what else do i need and can you tell me where to buy it and if it really does work because i want to play through wi-fi when super smash bros brawl comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was playing Wii Sports, bowling, and all of the sudden my remote stopped working. The buttons all work fine, but the sensor to show my movement isn't. I've done all the trouble shooting, re-syncing and even cleaning, but it's still not working. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know what to do?

I have an Xbox 360 and my friend has a wii. Unfortunately, my friend now wishes he got a 360, because he realizes that the motion sensor isn't incorporated in the games as good as people say it is. Most people who like the wii think every game is going to be as interactive as wii sports, but that in fact is not the case. Most publishers get confused on how they are going to make the game interactive, so for say opening a box you will swing the remote side by side (totally unrelated to the action). Not only that, but there is NO graphical improvement from the gamecube AT ALL. Most wii players say that the wii is a different style of gameplay, but all it feels like is a gamecube with a special controller. The online beats out PS3, but comes no where, NO WHERE, close to Xbox Live. Not only that, but you are obligated to point the wiimote at your television screen constantly, and moving the controller will change the camera angles dramatically. Tell me why people are buying this?

I'm looking to get a Wii soon, and right now I'm faced with the problem of money. I figured a good way of coming up with some money would be to trade in some old stuff I don't need (Gamecube, games, DVDs, etc.)

Where are good places that will definitely take and give back decent money for:

a) Gamecube: if I'm getting a Wii, I won't be needing this anymore. [Condition = good; "reset" button gets stuck though]
- What parts do I need to trade in with it (e.g: one working controller, etc.)
- What do I keep (e.g: extra controllers, memory cards)

b) Video games: old games I don't play anymore for GCN, PS2, etc. [Condition = all are almost new]
- Where can I trade them in for good prices
- What console games WON'T they take anymore?

c) DVDs: where can I get rid of all my old or crappy movies?! [Condition: almost new]
- Where can I unload this useless clutter and get decent cash?

I think it should be Cloud Strife because he was in kingdom hearts chain of memories for gameboy advance and it would be a history making game if Cloud and Link clashed blades on that game two of the biggest rivals in gaming history!
