I have just purchased an Xbox 360 from an American shop ready to take back to the UK. However, it says on the side of the packing DVD region 1. Will the xbox still work with UK games and DVD's etc? i have not plugged the station in yet.

But should I have waited untill the sales... or have a got a pretty unbeatable deal thats worth not waiting for the sales?

If I have gotten everything seperatly it would have been £430... so thats a £130 profit... could have I saved more in the sales?

If people are stupid enough to throw their Wii controllers through their TVs, why should Nintendo be liable? There is a class action lawsuit being brought against them for users who had the wrist straps break on their controllers and as a result sent them flying into expensive objects. But WHY would you let go of the controller in the first place - and then be swinging it HARD enough to snap the strap - and then be standing CLOSE enough to your television to have it cause damage? Isn't this like suing Louisville Slugger because you let an aluminum bat slip out of your hand and it flew through your neighbors window? Shouldn't the grip have been better....

I ordered something on HMV website (UK) and they've buggered up my order?
Have been holding on customer helpline for bloody ages now (basically I ordered 3 dvds and they've sent 2 the same and not the one I wanted). I went into my local store would I have any luck sorting it out there. I'm on a sick day but am willing to drag myself out of bed to sort this out as this is xmas pressie!

i have receipt and dvd's are in their packaging so that's not a prob
