I have a class (card) with various properties. I also have another class (cardcollection) which is a collection of a bunch of objects of the type card. I use a for loop to display the text property of the class in a list box of each object of the type card class.

what i want to do is click a button and a text box changes to the text property of a random object within the cardcollection class.

if this is more than can be explained here then please give me the words i need to Google to do this. i know .net has things built in for randomization, i just don't know how to use it, or what it is called to research it.

I'm self-taught Javascript, HTML, and XHTML. HTML and XHTML work very well. But, when I write Javascript, it doesn't work though my IE tell me there is Active Control X in my site. I copied a Javascript from a site and put it in Notepad and it worked, so the problem is not in the browser, I think it's in my Javascipt. This is a sample, check it for me pls.:
var time=get hours()

if(time>5)
{
document.write:("Not Twilight yet, sir!!!")
}

I am trying to write a CASE statement in MS-Access and it is not working. Please give me the syntax for this.

I have searched, edited and tried out examples from the internet but they don't work. Please give me a simple example with just 2 cases so that I can follow it easily.

If you actually test your code on MS-Access before posting it here, please let me know that too. I appreciate your help very much.

I work for a small business and we run an ecommerce site. We use a lot of third party programmers and would like to find a tool, system, knowledge base etc to judge the quality of code? any suggestion, help towards finding a solution would be very much appreciated. I have heard that inconsistent code can effect SEO efforts, page ranks and not to mention leave the site buggy. Somebody once mentioned to us about w3c coding standards or something. Currently the programming is primarily done in ASP, HTML.

I'm working on writing a program and trying to decide if I want to use a database or a bunch of formatted files.
If VB 6 can utilize Access Database without MS Access, I would go that route, otherwise, I'm sunk to using the formatted files.

Also, if someone wouldn't mind pointing out some free online tutorials, that would be great.

I took basic and turbo pascal in highschool. Then Ada in college. (old, I know...don't laugh)
I would like do some at home self-study on programming to see if it is something that would interest me as possbily going back to school for. I currently work for an insurance company. I'm curious what kind of programming languages our IT department uses. I might do a job shadow.
But beyond my current employer, what is a good entry-level yet in demand language to start with?

well, i havent played halo for pc in a while and i wanted to get back
into it, so i recently downloaded the latest patch for halo(pc). well,
when i went to go play online, this box popped up on my computer and said "please insert the disk". well the halo cd was already inserted in the cd drive. whats wrong? does the patch that i recently downloaded deny the halo cd thats in my cd drive? the campaign works fine by the way. thanks:)
