Internet - December 2007

I had installed an update to my norton (I know most of you don't like it, that's not my issue right now). I was finally able to get a system restore to work by going back almost a month, but my internet connections are not working now. I have a wireless laptop that I am using, but the problem is with my desktop. Will doing a system recovery fix the problems? If so, how do I go about it? I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks.

the page cannot be displayed while internet connection is working well. Even when i can access it, for example myspace, i wanna go to inbox, or see friend requests, it all leads to page cannot be displayed. And all the images on websites can't be displayed. Anyone can help? thank a lot.

Hello, recently the font in Internet Explorer changed. I have gone to Tools -> Internet Options -> Fonts, but I have not had success. The "turn off computer" font has also changed. Also, system restore is not working.

I have "windows xp" and comcast broadband internet service. When I put a search word into a search engine like msn, yahoo, or google and then "click on" the search box it will freeze on me and takes forever to go to the list of sites? When it finally gets to the list of sites I then "click on" one of the sites and it will freeze on me again or take forever to go to it. What do you think is causing this problem?

i am trying to use wifi so that i can go online with my DS but is unable to as my current settings is using a passkey instead of a wep key. i have tried to change my settings at 192.168.1.1 but cannot find any option to change from passkey to wep key. my router is by linksys, model number WRT150N. It is a wireless-N home router. please help! Thanks!

Ok, How CAN I set up a streaming internet TV station/channel? I don't want it to be live (I don't use web cams) , I want it to be all programming. I would prefer that this would be an already made service that could help me although, if someone was to provide me a tutorial on how to do this myself, it would be greatly appreciated. You could enter criterial things like height, waist, hips, chest, hair colour, skin tone, hair type, eyes, jaw-shape, weight etc, body shape, (for women,.. hourglass, pear etc),... and after you had finished it would show you in 3D what you looked like, you could rotate 'yourself', and it'd usually be fairly accurate. Can you remember the site? Are there any better ones out there too maybe?

On facebook, many of my friend's photo count is actually a lot more than the number of photos that have been tagged of them. For example, it says that they have 100 photos but when you actually click on their tagged photos, they only have say 80. Why is this? I am sure its not because they detag themselves because when I detag myself the photo count also goes down...
