NO WAY. My parents won't let me, but I don't even see the point. Look at the news--the tragedies that MySpace is causing. Look at the death of Megan Meier. Do you want that to happen to you? Don't defy them on something as trivial (but life-threatening) as MySpace.

First, it truly depends on age and the reasons why you should get a myspace. I am in the same problem as you, and recently sent "santa" a letter telling him that all i want for christmas is a myspace, and all the reasons why it would be ok. I wouldnt ever get one behind their backs, only because my moms friends all have them so i would be found emiditly. I think that it is best to just work your charm and convince them.

isabella already mentioned this, but I want to expand on it. Your parents might be afraid that some pedophile middle aged guy will find your myspace page and try to molest you because of it. If you want, you can set up a myspace account so that only your friends can view it. If you do that, your parents might be ok with it.

It's completely up to you. However, I would respect your parents view. Maybe discuss with them why they don't want you having a MySpace account?
To be honest, MySpace isn't the greatest thing around anyway, but I can see why it's so popular.

Hm... I don't think you should. What if they find out? Your parents wouldn't trust you as much anymore, and then they'll pop their head in every five minutes to see if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing. And what's so great about Myspace anyways? It's just looking at other people's photos and commenting.

lol funny question. my parents dont want me to have on either but i went behind my moms back and got one my dad doesn't really care he just says that if my mom gets mad that he said no. it's kind of stressful going behind my moms back but oh well. before u get one though make sure u dint have a history report on ur computer cause then they'll be able to see where u've been online we found that out the hard way but I've figured how to go without them finding out but u have to already have one to beable to do it. well good luck ttyl

Hey Im doing it, if they block it just go to boredoutmymind.info and you can get to it from there. But there is always the chance you get cought and that can mean even stricter parents and youd have to regain their trust and that wouldnt be a good thing to lose around christmas time if you know what i mean lol

Yes, make one but before you do make sure you get your parents to trust you and talk about why you want one to begin with.Once you do tell them that you are going to talk to people you know, keep in touch with family and things like that. They will ease up a bit and allow you to have one.

It depends on how old you are. If you are under 15 i'd advise that you shouldn't. You never know what creep could be out there posing as an innocent friend.
