I have a friend who is afraid to download and listen to a podcast (virus', etc_) I would like to burn a cd and therefore may be listened to on a cd player!!

I try to connect and then appears:
"we were not able to sing you into yahoo" I'm sure that I'm online and my Internet it's working. and also appears
LAN/firewall users
setup Proxy ( How can I know my proxy settings if I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IS PROXY AND FIREWALL)
also which is the normal connection:
no proxies
firewall with no proxies
use proxies
no network detection

Lets say for a day or 2 i didn't have any problems with my DSL modem constantly getting disconnected and stating "Local Connection 3, Cable is Unplugged" But ever since a small storm one day, then a somewhat bigger storm the next day. I am constantly getting disconnected and on top of that i get Static or a loud Static noise on my phone. We have only been living here for 2 weeks and the phone has been grounded(which got uncovered during the rain storm) and hooked up for like a week, and we have only have had DSL for just as long as we have had the phones hooked up. I have called Embarq and they will be here on Tuesday. I also got little ringing in the background. All the filters are hooked up. What do you think might be causing it. Also i am not using a wireless router, i am only using one computer. Even when i hook the phone straight up to the jack or even connect a phone straight up to the box outside, i still get that loud Static sound over the phone.

Are the terrorists planning some sort of cyber attack? Every single room I go to (various states, countries, etc.) seems to have several Arabs in there. Maybe I'm stereotyping here, but it's unsettling. Does this bother anyone else?

Ok so the problem is when i try to log in to myspace when i wait a couple of minutes than this message will apear "Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.

This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group"

What does that mean and how do i fix it? This is happenin for a long time.

Okay soooo the word is that Myspace was hacked into....WRONG!!! See what happen was, Myspace got pissed at Yahoo for all the publicity they were getting, so they bombed Yahoo...which is why the server is down. But you see, Yahoo was all like [enter diva snap here] "Oh no you didn't, ima make sure your a** is grass!" So Yahoo bombed Myspace....and that is why they're both down...Okay I was bored, here's an easy 2 points for you guys, have fun <3
