Hope to use XP, as Vista supposedly not good for games.

my mac froze and then i restarted it and all my files and pics and docs were wiped even the background was the normal background when i got it. only the MAC hd was on the desktop i am so cranky. can anyone tell me why this happened
? or help me fix it? or is everything lost forever?

I am much more familiar with the Intels, however I have seen a laptop which looks quite good with this processor. Help greatly appreciated.

i have a dell inspirion laptop and it will not come on ive tried plugging it to the battery charger that didnt work but the light on the side of laptop is on like the computer is on what can i do to get it to come on?

i am planing to buy a HP DV9000, from this 2 options which is better, thou price diff is ok, still if i keep other config same then with intel its $125 more then amd, which one i should go for ?

2 part question, thats 1- it signs off when I shut the flip and signs back on when I open the flip (screen). also, the wireless internet router is in my room. literally, when i go into another room with my laptop, i lose signal completely- do I have a B airport extreme? will a wireless usb G adapter for macs fix it?
