which is better AMD Turion 64 X2 tl-64 or intel t7100 1.8GHz?

i am planing to buy a HP DV9000, from this 2 options which is better, thou price diff is ok, still if i keep other config same then with intel its $125 more then amd, which one i should go for ?
please help.

Both are good processors, but the Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 is better. In general, Core 2 Duo has the X2 line beat across the board, it's just more expensive.

I couldn't find a direct comparsion between the X2 TL-64 and T7100 models, but here are some recent comparisons of mobile AMD & Intel processors:

I would say AMD but don't take my word on that.
