Thought I had it in my security lock box, but not in there. It has been moved somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The DOW is down nearly 1,000 point, partially over inflation concerns (at least that's the way the media puts it). CNN ran an article that said in the month of May, a record amount of money went into money markets. The market averages 10% and a money market around 4%?

In the stock market you have dollars, and in a money market you have dollars. Both of which are worth less come inflation. Can someone explain the logic of this too me?

I'm a 24 year old guy working in a depart with 15 women over 30. At least twice per week, there's always something they want me to pitch in for. Either they want me to pitch for some babyshower of someone in some other department I don't even know friend of theirs, or they want me to pitch in for one of the girl's B-day that I don't talk to. They buy these special cakes and lunches celebrating stupid stuff like one of them getting a BF, or one of them getting over her BF. I don't talk t them, they don't talk to me, except when there's something "everyone" in the department needs to pitch including me, the only guy who doesn't get along with them. It sucks.

My credit card balance was $26K in Dec 05 with AMEX. I tried to put it on a debt consolidation plan but AMEX refused and instead sent it to their collections company. Does it make sense for me to try to pay the balance off since it's already reported as going to collections on my credit reports. Will it improve my FICO score if I pay it off with the collections company? I want to buy a house next year. How will morgage lenders view it? I'll have a 30% down payment (gift) by the time I'm ready to do it. Will that help?

I will be closing around August 1 and I was wondering if there were any strategies for reducing the principal and/or interest from the very start of the loan. Thanks!

My Teens don't make all that much money yet and paying these service fees for a savings account, it might might as well stay at home. Do you know of a bank that gives free saving accounts?

My dad died and left his house to me through a warranty deed - no probate or anything, it's automatically mine.

He owed WAY more than what it can be sold for. I don't want to live there, and renting it out wouldn't cover the expense of keeping it. I don't want to keep it, I can't sell it… I'm way too broke to try to spend the next 30 years paying that and my mortgage on my house.

Am I stuck with it? Do I have to sell it and take a loss? Can I just give it back to the bank? What are my options? Please help!!

Thanks!
