Me a newbie to the market... but dont startoff with the RISK factor involved in day trading unless necessary

Are buy and sell orders put by u executed in click-time (generally, irrespective of volumes traded)? Can u explain abt ask price and bid price in general?

What abt Direct Access Trading with no brokereges....is it open for everyone?

If its only thru cash with no margins...then can we own the shares at the end of day if prices r down like normal buying of shares? or diff set of rules apply for ID trading?

Is thr a min. amount to start with for trading?

In brief, what and how are diff types of ID trading done ?

TIA

I recently left my job and have a small investment in 401K. My new employer has their 401k plan, and I am also familiar with Rollover option. However, I dont understand the process too well. Is it advisable:
AA) that I leave my 401k with my former employer (as it is) and start fresh another 401k with my new employer? Will it have any negative impact?
BB) I roll it over to IRA (Schwab) and then also continue with the new 401k with my new employer?
CC)If I directly rollover to my new employer, will my former employer come to know the details of my new employment (my employer, my position etc??) Appreciate any sincere advise as I have never done this before.-Thanks folks...God Bless you all!

What do you think of teens saving for retirement?

I'm 15, I have a part time job and I'm saving 38% for retirement.
As soon as I have the $2000 minimum, I'm starting a Roth IRA.
I know it's about 50 years away, but it's a good habit. I've heard a lot of people complaining wishing they started earlier.
