Hello,
My husband and I are looking into investing. Has anyone used ShareBuilder? If so, what is your experience with it?
Please let me know if you highly recommend it or if there is a better choice to make as far as buying shares. Thank you.

Investment advice on various stocks by 'experts' seems to be an attempt to manipulate the stock price on things they hold - therefore we should be very wary of their advice.

Their advise should be based on first principles analysis of business performance and placing this in context of the market the business operates in combined with technical factors that might affect the share price or the small investor eg Currency movements and losses from currency conversion and transaction charges.

What should we take into account when considering their advice?

I'm looking into making a little extra cash. I'm not looking for any type of work at home. I'm loooking for something similar to trading currency and stock but those seem much too complicated for me. I'm looking for something a little easier to understand. I know quite a bit about computers but trading currency and stock completely stunned me. Thanks all!

Hi, I just started working 2 months back. I get a decent salary and can easily save upto 1/3 of it every month. I want to start investing early. What are the kind of investments i should go for at this stage? I want to have 3 buckets of savings - retirement (have a good 40 yrs to that), a liquid cash savings and some stocks. I do have a fairly good knowledge about finances (for a non-finance background person) but there are so many options in the market that i do not know what to choose.
Any suggestions??

I am 24 years old and after taxes and cost of living expenses I have $1350 coming in every month. Before I just blew it all away on junk (electronics, trips, women, drinking) but now I think I should invest it but how do I get the best return on investment (ROI) for my money? Should I look for the best long term or short term ROI?

Is there any site which would be give me reasons for share price movement of UK companies during the year-
Say the share price has been pretty volatile during the year -but taking it on annual basis-the share price has been virtually unchanged.
