Is there any site which would be give me reasons for share price movement of UK companies during the year-
Say the share price has been pretty volatile during the year -but taking it on annual basis-the share price has been virtually unchanged.

Share prices are based on expectations of the investors. If their expectations shift on a daily basis or weekly or biweekly basis then the stockmarket fluctuate in those times. There must have been lot of good and bad news in the UK during the past year and this must be the reason for the stockmarket to have had high volatility.
