I'm loking for currency charts to keep up on a separate monitor. I've found one site with just charts so far, but I'm looking for something just a bit easier on the eyes.

I am a university student with a decent understanding of the stock market. I have decided to invest some of my monies and would like to know where to go for research purposes. What are the best websites when it comes to business news, stock market tools, analysts ratings and everything else to do with the economy and both the domestic and international markets.

I am aware of CNNmoney, msnbc, yahoofinance. Please inform me of your favourites, preferably not any of the ones I mentioned above although you are free to advise me which one of those I mentioned are the best.

I'm looking for some ways people would invest $1,000,0000 if they were ever in a position to be so fortunate to have that large sum of money.

Hi,
This might sound a bit mad, but true. I just found out that I have inherited a software patent for search engines, and I have no idea how to go about trying to sell it - any ideas?

Thanks!

If I want to have a decent amout of $$ when I retire what kind of investments should I do in m;y 401k. If I invest 10 percent of my income, will this be decent? Mind you I am only 21, But I want to start my 401k early, that way I am not in trouble later. If I invest about 2000 to 3000 a year (for the first couple years, until I can put in more a year) How much will I have roughly in 20 years.

I don't understand how the stock market works in one way. What would happen if say a stockholder predicted the values of his shares would plummet soon, but so did everyone else. Hence no one wanted to buy his shares of this company. Is this investor SOL or is he somehow guaranteed that the market will give him cash in exchange for his dismal looking stock even if no other investor wants to buy the shares? Does my question make sense?

Eg. back when google came on the market I was thinking about borrowing money from my plan and buying the stock. Look how much the value for the stock has went up. I know that it can go up and down and you can loose money.
