I just had $800 of annuity savings from a former job rolled over to a traditional IRA. I also have Roth IRA worth several thousand. Is it worth it to convert that $800 to the Roth account? If not, what should I do with it?

Hi, guys im 21 and I just bought $ 80,000 small house four moths ago, and I would like to know what is better to pay extra payments to pay off the mortgage ASAP, or to pay the regular payments and the rest to invest it in the stock market or any other investment. The reason is that after 30 years im going to end up paying more than 288000, but if I paid sooner ill save hundreds thousands. In the other hand if the rest of the money I invested I can get a higher % gain, but is not secure. What do you guys believe is the best use that I can give to my money? Please give me your opinions, and ideas. Thank You.

What if there is actually a cyber-attack and we are unable to use one, more, or all of our online trading components for an undetermined amount of time? There are soooo many points of failure involved, you know - it's kinda scary when you're relying on this profession for your sole income. How would you continue to trade technology-free (assume you have your phone only)? Arre there paper subscription versions of stock charts available? I've found stock chart books on chartsmart.com. Does anyone know of others? I'm a technical trader, so don't really care about annual reports of companies and fundamental data.

I talked to a Merril Lynch representative and he told me that you have to have $2,000 up front before they would even considering taking the time to let you pick some stocks. Is this the case for all stock companies? If so, can I just go online straight to some of these Blue Chip companies and invest online with them without even having to go through these brokers to invest in stock? For example, could I go online at Walmart or Pepsi or Mc Donald's and invest through them online?

What I mean by right way is the intelligent way - I want to do research and will read books...I just do not know which books are best for me. I am a 19 year old female and want to make educated investments. At this time, I cannot afford a stockbroker or any type of financial advisor....but I am committed to learning and investing my money wisely....any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
